Let me help you with your goals!

Because each dog has their own personality and learning style, I accept them for who they are. I also accept that each dog will learn at their own pace. I will help dog guardians meet their goals by recommending which program and training options best fit their personality, schedule, and environment.

The Power of Positive Training

At Bone Worx, I don’t train dogs; I train the guardians who love them. I’ve redefined dog training with customized classes, designed to build confidence and success as your dog masters skills in a simple, step-by-step process.

I utilize only positive dog training methods, which your entire family can quickly master and embrace. You will be actively engaged in the training, working as a team as you learn to communicate more effectively with your dog. The behavior will naturally transition to life at home.

All dogs can benefit from learning, regardless of age or experience. Whether your pup is starting with the fundamentals, brushing up on previously learned skills, or ready to take on new challenges, my classes can accommodate your needs.

Training your dog helps:

  • Build a stronger relationship between your dog and your family
  • Build confidence and trust between your dog and your family
  • Channel energy into appropriate tasks and behavior
  • Create consistent communication between your dog and your family
  • Maintain a sharp mind and problem-solving ability
  • Improve behavior in new environments

Group or private classes are available to dogs of any size and breed.

A good recall is an excellent skill for a dog. It allows us to steer our dogs away from dangerous or unwanted interactions, making us feel good when our dogs come when called. Because of the distraction factor, recall is a very fancy skill—it's fun to show off—but it also means it takes more time to train than other skills and behaviors.

My goal for this private class is to teach you the foundational skills to increase your dog's ability to respond to a recall cue and come away from distractions, such as other dogs and food. You might not reach the point where your dog comes every time in this short class, but I want you to embrace it with a solid understanding of how to train a reliable recall and the ability to continue teaching at your own pace.

Pre-registration, payment, and proof of your dog's vaccination are required before class begins.

Children under 15 years old are not permitted to join the session.

Freak on a Leash! Understanding Reactivity

               All Ages Are Welcome!

  • One 45-minute Consultation -$20. During this time, we will identify and discuss your training goals.
  • Eight 60-Minute Sessions
  • Options to meet once a week or once every ten days.

Prerequisites:

  • Must have a solid understanding and demonstrate basic impulse control behaviors, such as sitting, lying down, waiting, or staying.

Are you dreading walking your dog?

Walking is one of the most critical components of your relationship with your dog.

Reactive dogs are typically considered dogs who bark, spin, lunge and growl on-leash at other dogs, and in some cases, people, kids, bikes, critters, and a variety of other things.

Reactive dogs may also exhibit signs of stress, such as pulling on the leash, restlessness, difficulty focusing, and tense body language.

ked to fear, excitement, or frustration, making it difficult for the dog to control their emotions and disengage from the triggering situation.

Often these dogs are labeled “aggressive” in society. When in reality, they have a hard time controlling their emotions.

Because reactivity is considered an emotional issue, it requires understanding the underlying causes and implementing appropriate strategies through management and training.

I am selective in the cases that I accept. Please contact me, and we will discuss your dog’s current behavior and your training needs.

Pre-registration, payment, and proof of your dog’s vaccination are required before the sessions begin.

Children under 15 years old are not permitted to join the session.

There are no bad dogs. Many behavior problems stem from normal, natural, and often necessary dog behaviors being performed in an inappropriate way. You will learn how to reward the behaviors you want while ignoring your dog (when appropriate) and preventing or redirecting the behaviors you don't want.

Pick from the list below to create your dog's unique training packet:

  • Barking
  • Charging the front door
  • Inappropriate elimination
  • Begging
  • Counter surfing
  • Resource guarding
  • Chewing
  • Digging
  • Jumping
  • Mouthing and nipping
  • Overexuberance and hyperactivity

Pre-registration, payment, and proof of your dog's vaccination are required before class begins.

Children under 15 years old are not permitted to join the group class.

The arrival of a new puppy often brings many training questions. My classes help you establish good routines and habits with your new pup from the start. I will also give you simple tools to address your puppy’s challenges.

Puppies have short attention spans, so a small class setting is the best place to get your puppy to focus. Start training as early as possible. This way, your dog can begin her new life by developing good routines and habits right from the start.
